Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH has taken it upon itself to automate this processes, which led to the foundation of Scheidt & Bachmann IoT Solutions GmbH. With its indoor localization system loopa, Scheidt & Bachmann IoT Solutions GmbH makes it possible to record goods movements in real time and to book them directly in the ERP system SAP®, so that companies can design their production and logistics processes smartly and efficient.

As a digital and technology-driven startup, it was obvious for us to not only found IoT Solutions in Aachen, but to join the digital community. Since 2020, we are officially a member of digitalHUB Aachen e.V., an association that promotes the digitalization of the economy and the public sector in the Aachen region. Members are medium-sized businesses, industry, startups and institutions that support the goals of the association. The digitalHUB Aachen brings together startups and IT SMEs (digital "enablers") with classic SMEs and industry as users (digital "users") in the digitalCHURCH to jointly develop and realize new digital business models.

This is supported by the region and science ("supporters"). In this way, an "Aachen Area" is being created euregionally as a digital innovation state. The digitalization center of the digitalHUB Aachen is part of the initiative "Digital Economy NRW (DWNRW)" and one of six supported centers for the digital economy in NRW.
